From your posts it is apparant that PacsOne is not intended for use to deliver images directly to patients and other specialists on an ad hoc basis.
Thanks for your information. We will seek a third party webserver application.

6.4.2 Features
Reading the features list of the 6.4.2 version, I dont see any way of adding a unique field via PACSONE after the image is acquired to enable ad hoc access by a nonreferring doctor.
Can you confirm this is a new feature which will enable us to do what I am trying to achieve?

User access values
I am using version 6.3.5 for Linux, but I don't see that option on the config page. When I try add a user, I only get a limited number of options- eg AE title, Referring Physician name, Reporting Doctor name and Institution name. So if a specialist who has not referred a patient to us calls us and r...

Pacsone as an image webserver
We are trying to implement Pacsone as a cheap webserver. Some advice please: 1. How do you manage patient image for access by non- referring doctors, eg Specialists? 2. Would you install it as a webserver on port 80 open to the internet or would you use a different port? 3. Which is your preferred 3...

PACSONE "CLOUD"
We have 3 sites linked by ADSL with only about 1.5MBPS uplink bandwidth. We are hoping to synch all 3 PACSONE servers across the WAN, but synch seems very unreliable across the WAN. We get failures of synch even t hough we only synch after hours and only the last 1 day's work. Any suggestions of how...

Whic version fixed it?
Thanks for the link to the latest version but I need to know if the backup server with 5.1 will fix this otherwise there is no point in deploying the backup server- will need to do some work on it beforehand.

I have pacsOne version 6.2.2 Linux version running. We have 2 uS scanners- one sends cases OK but the other has a problem sending the LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME where both end up in the LASTNAME field in PacsONe. This generates a duplicate patient ID entry when you check for Duplicates using TOOLS. Can som...

Hi I am having intermittent issues with my scanner too- I see this is fixed with a upgrade, but is there a fix for version 3.1.8 without us having to upgrade?
