suggestion...
The thumbnail images will have to be generated by Apache since the ImageMagick PHP extension is used to generate the thumbnail images, and it runs in the context of the web server, i.e., Apache.exe. It may be possible to generate the thumbnails in a background thread or process from the PHP extensi...

thumbnail generation
Does the premium version offer an alternative than having the apache.exe process generate the thumbnails?
I think this is a bug and should be done as a background process. I've also included this as a topic in "Desired Features".

Wavelet compression
Any chance of adding in wavelet compression to speed things up?
I would be interested in this and willing to spec or beta test or even develop (with compensation) this if it's a good fit for this product.

thumbnails
Several questions about the thumbnails: 1) how do I change the directory in which the thumbnails are stored? And is it moveable once I have already existing thumbnails? 2) is there a way to have the PACSONE server autogenerate the thumbnails before I initially hit the page containing the thumbnail? ...

execution time
When downloading a particular study I get the following error:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in c:\program files\pacsone\php\download.php on line 135
I looked through download.php. I couldn't figure out how to change the default maximum execution time.

storescp?
I have run into a problem where I can no longer receive DICOM files from our scanner. It previously worked. Then I tried to devise a way to backup selected patients onto CD. I tried running a separate storescp from the command line in a separate directory I created to contain the files to be archive...

applet java files
pacsone, I found that for MSIE 6.0, the class files need to be built for JRE 1.1 (so either use the target flag set to 1.1 or use a 1.1 JRE). Could you furnish me with the java files? Still haven't been able to run it. Although, I have integrated ImageJ to open up the files. I now have the capabilit...

viewer.php loaded
Thanks pacsone. I installed viewer.php and tried to run the applet. The problem still persists that dicomviewer.Viewer is not found. Any suggestions at this point? I tried launching another applet and it launches fine. I reloaded applet.jar from the current applet.zip file from the pacsone download ...

viewer.php
I am looking through the applet.php code.
There is a file called viewer.php. Is this supposed to reside in my PacsOne/php directory?
I actually cannot find this file. Was it supposed to be downloaded with the applet or is this part of the original pacsone install?
