Auto Route : Priority Scheduled Later

Post by don1673 » Fri Mar 21, 2008 5:39 pm

Hello,
On PacsOne Server version 5.1.4, why all the summited jobs keep stayed on Scheduled Later for ever, and I needed to do manually checked all and forwarded to Run Immediately ? How can I stop this?

And I saw on the Priority column was showed me with all the number like : 10, 14, 17, 19, 20........ What's all these number mean ?

Thanks.
Don.

These numbers mean the scheduled 24-hour clock for the job to be picked up, so if you see a job with the schedule of 10, that means PacsOne is scheduled to run that job at 10:00 am local time.

Is anyway how can I change this hours to minutes like : 5, 10, 15, 30 min ? Because, wait for hour it was too long and at the weekend I am not in the office for manually forward it.

Or how can I stop this : Scheduled Later service ?

Thanks.
Don.

The current PacsOne job scheduler is 24-hour based, so you can schedule the jobs to be picked up either immediately, or on a 24-hour clock schedule. It is not supported yet to schedule jobs at specific minutes interval.

But this is not making sense ? Why the jobs was submitted time at 15:39 and the scheduled later at 18, and the second job submitted time at 16:15 the scheduled later at 20. But nothing was sending at that time ?

Look at the copied below.

Thanks.

These look like the automatic routing jobs created by one or more routing rules with a [From,To] scheduling window. Check the Auto Route link from the Main Menu and see if there is any routing rules defined with a scheduling window.

If you want these routing jobs to run immediately instead of at later scheduled hours, then you should change the routing rules to use the Immediate routing schedule, but not the [From, To] schedule window.

Yes, the Auto Route scheduled was setup FROM, TO. Because, we are sending cases to difference Radiologies from time to time. And that why we can not switched to IMMEDIATELY for one radiology.

In that case, PacsOne is working as designed as it will only pick up those routing jobs during the [From, To] window, but not immediately.

But can we edit the later schedule with max is 1 hour ? Because, waiting for 2 to 4 hours later to send it was too long !

If you want the To hour to be within 1 hour of the From hour, then you simply use the fixed hourly schedule instead of the [From, To] window, so that PacsOne will run all of the routing jobs on the designated hour (instead of trying to spread them evenly across the [From, To] schedule window).

Sorry, here is the problem I can not figured it out how to setup auto route scheduled ?
20 AET machines send to PacsOne Server
3 Radiologies will receive at weekday and weekend

Ex:
1. AE (1 to 10 ) will auto forward to Rad-1 all day (this was easy "immediate" )

2. AE ( 11 to 15 ) will auto forward to Rad-2 weekday From 8AM to 3PM and forward back to Rad-1 From 3PM to 8AM next day morning

3. AE (16 to 20 ) will forward to Rad-3 weekday From 8AM to 3 PM and forward back to Rad-1 From 3PM to 8AM next day morning

4. All AE (1 to 20 ) will forward to Rad-1 all day at the weekend

With PacsOne Server version 4.1.1 I just have a problem at the weekend. At Friday night : Disable All AE* and Enable only ALL* to Rad-1 "Immediate".
Now, with this version 5.1.4 I got more problems with " Scheduled Later ".

Ok, so it seems like you need a new routing schedule option for PacsOne to forward the received images immediately, but only during a [Start, End] window. Is that correct?

This option is certainly different from the current [From, To] window which means PacsOne should forward received images during this schedule, but will do so by spreading the jobs evenly among this time window.

We will try to add this new scheduling option to the next release of PacsOne Server, as it is certainly useful for your setup above.
