Can PACSONE support a transcription module where you would have another tab or it would be under the Notes tab where it could do the following:
1. Allow transcriptionist to login, get to the study, go to the notes or transcription tab and performed transcription on what the radiologist or doctor has dictated on.
2. Have a drop-down box for selecting the type of word/openoffice template you want to use with whichever site you are working with.
3. Type into the template and being able to review the template in word/openoffice or PDF like the actual template is with graphics and all.
4. Save the transcription thats created so that when doctors review the study they can also review the transcriptionist report.

We are working on the following feature:
1. The users can add or edit a transcription template which is basically a Word document with several pre-defined bookmarks on a company letterhead.
2. The Administrator can then assign the configured transcription template to a Source AE.
3. When the users add or edit notes about a Dicom study received from that Source AE, the pre-configured Word template will be automatically pushed to the client PC with the pre-defined bookmarks auto-filled with the patient-specific information, e.g., Patient Name, Patient ID, Study Date, Referring Physician, etc., then the transcriptionist at the client PC can begin typing into the auto-filled Word document.
4. Once the transcription is completed, the Word document can be uploaded to PacsOne Server as part of the study notes for that subject Dicom study, i.e., both the Dicom study and the transcription report can be viewed right next to each other.

Transcription Module
Do you know when this would be available?
We're looking to go online with your software next to immediately because of the features that are already in place with your PACS software, the issue is that we need to have a that module that you are creating to get going. We were hoping to have something to test again before the 45-day license was up.
Please advise
Thanks

PACSONE Trial License Extension Request
Thanks for getting back to me about when the transcription module will be in place. As soon as it's released then we're going to need the extension to test it and then make sure everything works.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thank you
To: PACSONE
Thank you for getting back to me on this as fast as you did.
Our company is very excited to use your product for our PACS needs.
Thanks again and we look forward to testing on the 30th.
Once we're able to download the product, I believe we'll be past the 45-day test, please advise on how we can contact you, at that point, to get the extension.
Thanks.

Our company could benefit from such a feature. It would definitely be worthwhile to implement such functionality.
