Query/receive problems

Post by Fairlight » Fri Dec 26, 2003 10:45 pm

I use two programs as viewers. Efilm 1.8.3 and RSVS 7.43 (radinfo systems). I find I have problem querying pacsone from either program. Querying by date errors both programs out (dicom write error from efilm and 'socket closed' from RSVS).
Querying by name from efilm returns all patients on pacsone. Querying by name from RSVS returns correct patients but 0 images listed for patients.
Retrieving to efilm generally times out and only a few images come through from any given series. Eventually you get a 'cannot write' dicom error.
Retrieving to RSVS from pacsone always errors out at the end of each file or at second image in a series. 'TCP recv data' and 'Bad Pres ctxt" are the error codes I get.
hmm...
What can I do to help troubleshoot?
Thanks, LJJ

There seems to be multiple issues here:

1. Querying by date is not yet implemented by the current release of PacsOne (version 1.0.0.12).

2. For problems retrieving images from eFilm or RSVS, you may want to start small first by retrieving one(1) single image from PacsOne to see if eFilm/RSVS can receive it, check the PacsOne server log especially for the C-STORE-RSP status code, if the C-STORE-RSP status is 0, that means PacsOne has received a Success confirmation from eFilm/RSVS that the image has been received successfully, otherwise, the non-zero status code should have some clue about what's wrong at the receiver.

3. If eFilm/RSVS can successfully handle one(1) image, you may want to bump it up by retrieving a serie of images next. Again, check the C-STORE-RSP status codes in the PacsOne server log for all transmitted images to see how many is received successfully and how many have failed.

4. You may also want to check the log files (if there's any) on eFilm/RSVS to see if there's any error and what/why they're complaining about.
