When receiving studies with multiple images PACSONE is receiving the study as multiple series rather than multiple instances within a series. For instance when receiving a 2 view CXR it comes in as Patient A - Series 1 - Instance 1 - Series 2 - Instance 1. When it should show as Patient A - Series 1 - Instance 1 & Instance 2.

PacsOne Server groups the received images by the Series Instance UID contained within the received images, i.e., if the received images have the same value for Series Instance UID, then they are stored under the same series in the PacsOne Server database.

So in your example above, Instance 1 and Instance 2 must have 2 different Series Instance UIDs in order for PacsOne to store them under 2 separate series instead of one. To verify this, you can simply click on the URL link displayed underneath the thumbnail images of Instance 1 and Instance 2, which will display a list of all raw Dicom data elements contained within that Dicom image. You can then compare the value shown for the Series Instance UID data element for Instance 1 and 2, to see if they are different or not. They would have to be different in order for PacsOne Server to store them under 2 separate series.
