orphan entries in db
Post

i have a long term and short term archive....they are both on different drives on separate computers.....problem is that there are many orphan entries in db as the drive letter of the long term archive changed a few times as did the long term drive itself....is there any way to update the db to fix the orphaned entries (by orphaned entries i mean entries that point to a location of filesystem that is invalid)

You can login as the Administrator, then click on the Tools->Database Integrity Check menu to scan the database for such orphaned records.

The result page from the Database Integrity Check should return a list of problem images, e.g., missing or invalid raw Dicom image file, etc. From there, you can decide what to do with these problem images, e.g., delete them from the database, fixing the raw Dicom image file path, etc.

When you run the Tools->Database Integrity Check menu, the system will assign a URL link with the Job ID for the integrity check. You can click on that Job ID link to get to the status of the job, which will include results of the integrity check when the job is completed.
