What application(s) are you using PacsOne Server with?

Post by pacsone » Thu Nov 13, 2003 9:54 pm

Hi, everyone:

I'm performing a compatibility study for users of PacsOne Server and I'm interested in finding out what application(s) PacsOne can be used with, to help with deciding feature roadmap and future directions of PacsOne.

The applications can include but not limited to: input modality scanners, other PACS servers/workstations, etc. Please provide as much details as possible, including the name of the application, version number, url link, etc.

Any input here would be appreciated.

I've got the following list from resolving issues/bugs from the users of PacsOne:
  • eFilm 1.5.3
    DCMTK
    Toshita Aplio
    RadWorks
    Picker International
Please feel free to add to this topic as a PacsOne user.

I've been able to send images from PacsOne to eFilm 1.5.3 (last free version).

The user who posted the message about RadWorks in this thread has contact information in the profile, you can click on the 'Email' button below the posted message to send an inquiry if you want to.

When you're browsing the patient(s), study(s) or series, you can click the corresponding checkbox in front of each patient, study or series that you want to send, or click on the 'Check All' button to send all items on the displayed list.

There's a 'Forward' button below the list of displayed entries, clicking on the 'Forward' button will send you to the Forward page, where you can select a destination AE from the drop-down list of remote SCP AEs.

NOTE: You will need to define an entry in the Application Entity table for eFilm first, before it can show up in the drop-down list above.

Has anyone tried connecting with a Siemens MR scanner or Leonardo workstation? I've heard rumors that these connections involve multiple ports.

I send images from Siemens Somatom Sensation 16 multislice via its workstation. Everything exept raw data transfers and is stored nicely. Retrieves images to the same workstation, when needed for reconstructions later.
I have tested sucessfully to send images from Siemens Elegra ultrasonography, and from Fuji FCR image plate system.

Can someone provide a newbie like myself the correct third-party app versions (Apache, MySQL, PHP) that play well with PacsOne?

Apache 2.x has the best compatibility in between versions and with other software, mostly because of its popularity and wide support bases.

There're some implicit depencencies between MySQL and PHP, both are not very good at compatibility in-between versions. For example, MySQL 4.1.x requires PHP 5.x so PHP 4.x would not work with the latest MySQL release.

Can I forward or add a remote AE from the MERGE efilm's AE on different server? Efilm version 2.0.1?

I defined it under AT on Pacsone but can't ping the efilm server. I used the correct port/AE.......

Thanks,
Pacs

Did you configure a Dicom device on eFilm for PacsOne?

If not, it may reject the Ping request sent from PacsOne but you need to check with eFilm manual or support to see if this is the case.
