C-ECHO Failing

Post by dbarnett » Thu Apr 30, 2009 4:00 pm

Hello,

We are having problems sending from a toshiba ct to the pacs server.
When trying to echo the device from the DICOM AE page of the web interface, I receive the following:

Verify() failed: error = Association request rejected

All our other equipment seems to functioning normally. The Toshiba system is a temporary setup located in a trailer outside the building. Currently the techs are forced to burn a cd and then import it using efilm on one of the viewing computers in the main building.

The error actually means you have established Dicom connectivity between PacsOne Server and this remote AE, but the remote AE has rejected the C-ECHO request sent from PacsOne, most likely because it has some security/access control policy (similar to those of PacsOne Server) that will reject association requests from unknown AEs. You should check the users' manual for this device to find out if this is the case, and if so, you would need to add/configure a record for PacsOne Server from this device, so that it can recognize the AE Title of PacsOne Server and will no longer reject association requests sent from PacsOne.
