"Image path query returned the same ... results"

There is a study from SourceAE "ct99", one of its files is C:/DICOM_STUDIES/2014-01-31-FRI/1.2.840.113619.2.55.3.1716700133.63.1391067053.54.1 .
The Default Long-Term Archive is "//192.168.13.26/Public/", with 8-day age limit. There is also an individual Long-Term Archive for ct99 AE, "//192.168.13.26/Public/CT01" with 3-day age limit.
In the logs I see
Code: Select all
Wed Feb 05 02:00:00 2014 INFO - AUTO-AGE: Starting Automatic Aging for Short-Term Archive Directories...
Wed Feb 05 02:00:20 2014 WARNING - AUTO-AGE: Image path query returned the same 270672 results for Source Directory: [C:/DICOM_STUDIES/]
Wed Feb 05 02:00:20 2014 INFO - AUTO-AGE: Finished Automatic Aging for Short-Term Archive Directories.
and files of that study remain in their original directory. At that moment at least the individual auto-age condition should be in effect. What I'm doing wrong? What does that warning mean?

The Warning message suggests the automatic aging failed to move the images from the short-term to the long-term archive directory, so can you check if you see any files or folders created under the long-term archive directory ("//192.168.13.26/Public/")? Also, make sure that shared-network path is accessible (Read and Write) to the user account that PacsOne Server service is running as, because otherwise PacsOne will not be able to move any files into that long-term archive directory.

Thank you! It was enough to change the user under which the service runs.

I see pacsone "copy" the dicom files to the LTA in the NAS but does NOT erase the original one on the server hardisk. Tomas ask me to see if the DB link was updated and yes, old studies now are reference to the NAS folder.
1-This behavior is normal? or pacsone must erase the old studies from the short term storage folder?
2-Also the folder name (named previously with the day-mo-year for each day) now is changed to the new one in the NAS with the day-mo-year it was "copied to" making very difficult the control. It is possible to configure pacsone to make and exact copy of the folder in the STS when age it to the LTS?

1. Did you check the security permission settings of the STS directory and make sure the user account that PacsOne Server service is currently running as has sufficient permissions to delete files under that directory? The only way PacsOne Server will update the database records to link the image paths to their new locations under the LTS directory is AFTER the copying of raw Dicom image from STS to LTS is successful.
2. Some users may prefer to apply the new date-based stamp for the moved new location under the LTS, instead of keeping the old directory structures under the STS, in order to have a record of when the automatic aging took place. So this suggestion may need more debates among users since either way may be liked/disliked by some users.
