Hello,
I have installed the Pacsone server Premium edition 6.1.3 Trial
Also installed are Apache 2.2.11, PHP 5.2.9 and MySQL 5.1.31
Everything runs on a windows XP Prfo box with SP3
I can get to the login screen for Pacsone, but when I try to login, it
states: Could not connect to MySQL database as User: root (or any other user). But I can connect to the db via mysql admin or query browser without any problems.
Any suggestions?

Did you check if the mysql/mysqli PHP extension is loaded successfully from the HTML output of the test page?

The mysql PHP extension is indeed loaded fine from the output of the test page you posted, but the session.save_path variable was not configured in your PHP.INI file, as it's still set to the default value "/tmp" which is invalid for your Windows platform.
You should edit your PHP.INI file and set the session.save_path variable to a valid local folder on this server, e.g., "C:\Program Files\PHP\session_data\", the saves the PHP.INI file and restart Apache for the change to take effect. After that, verify the session.save_path variable is configured with the correct path from the output of the test page again:

and you should now be able to login to the Home page fine.
