Upgrading from 6.3.4 to 6.4.4 will license work?

Post by jlgamero » Wed Feb 11, 2015 9:20 pm

Hello
After some years of service my pacsone server failed due to a catastrofic batabase corruption. Now I´ve reinstalled it, but I decided to update and install the latest version 6.4.4. I have two questions:
Will my license file for the 6.3.4 work in 6.4.4?
What's the best way to recover my dicom server? I have all the images in a different disk, but the database is lost.
Thanks for your help
Jorge

Yes, the existing PacsOne Server license will work after upgrading to the latest version, as long as the host configurations stay the same, e.g., hostname, MAC addresses, CPU architecture (32-bit or 64-bit), etc.

Check the Windows Event Logs->Application Log and see if PacsOne had logged any error there.
