MySQL Authentication

Hi all,

I am facing a problem while setting up PACSONE on Windows XP Home Edition.

Though I am following the instructions but still I am getting the following error when I click on Install button:

Error Configuring MySQL database: dicom
MySQL Error: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

Please verify the specified MySQL Username and Password are valid.
==============================================

For further info. I am using the latest MySQL version i.e. 5.0.67

Also, I have tried all usernames mentioned in Readme.txt and root as well.

I hope to get this thing started earliest possible.

What is the version of PacsOne Server you are trying to install?

Its the latest I downloaded it 2 days back. its 1.0.0.14.

1.0.0.14 is the Basic Edition of PacsOne Server, and it will only work with MySQL version 4.0.26 or earlier releases.

Thank You So much for your help. It worked but I have to do alot of things more. like:

1. Download php-4.4.9
2. Download php4apache2.dll and replaced it to work with Apache2.2

Now I am looking for a Getting Started Guide

I have GE CT/e. Hope you can help me in this.

You can check out our PacsOne Server Users' Guide:

Although the manual is written for the Premium Edition of PacsOne Server, most of them also apply to the Basic Edition if the corresponding menu exists.
