More than one File-Directory

Post by saavik » Mon Aug 10, 2009 11:12 am

We are now about to break the 3TB Filevolumen border.

Question:

As I do not want to extend my LVM beond 3TB ( as the Filesystem check already takes more than 5 hours) I would like to add an other directory to put the files.

How can I do that, and what to do when this directory is about to get full ?

Does anybody have an idea ?

You can simply assign the new storage directory as the Archive Directory for the specific AEs from the Application Entity page of PacsOne Server, or assign the new storage directory as the Default Archive Directory from the Configuration page after logging in as the Administrator. After that, all newly received images will be stored under the new storage directory, while the existing images stored under the previous storage directories are still accessible the same way as before (as long as you don't remove the physical storage devices).
