Imagick installed but not accessible

Post by davec » Mon Nov 20, 2006 7:53 pm

Hello again! Thanks for all of your help with my previous questions, I think this is the last thing that I've been having difficulty with.

Imagick seems to be installed correctly(it is listed on the hello.php page), but the option to use it within the PacsOne web interface seems to be missing. If I understand correctly, while viewing the thumbnail preview pages of a series there should be a "Show" button that will use Imagick to display the selected images, but it's not there.

Thanks for your help once again, and please let me know if I need to provide any additional information about my installation.

The ImageMagick PHP extension is used to generate the thumbnail and full-size jpg/gif images displayed to the browsers, so if you can see the thumbnail and full-size images from your browser, then it's working fine.

The <Show> button is used to launch the Java applet viewers which is un-related to ImageMagick. If one of the supported Java applet viewers is installed, you should see the <Show> button from the Patient/Study/Series/Image pages.

If not, you can download and install the free/open-source Java applet viewer from our website:

http://www.pacsone.net/download.htm

or you can try one of the commercial Java applet viewers which are URL-linked from our website above.
