I have study data aged from the default folder in PacsOne to another folder on the network after 90 days.
I found out something very unusual. Within this network folder that store long term data, for 3 months, from April to June, the data are missing from this folder (All data from other dates are present within this folder).
Here is the stranger part, on the search page, if I look for studies between April to June, PacsOne returns all the studies - but I haven't did a complete inventory check yet. When I clicked on individual thumbnails of the studies from this date range (April to June), PacsOne has no problem in displaying the image. I only randomly pick studies to make sure I have not lost any data so it is just a random check at this moment.
Can someone be able to tell me how I can find out where these studies (for the 3 months from April to June) are actually located in my system please?
Also what may have cause this phenomenon to occur? Aged data from other dates are all residing in this folder.
I have RAID 5 storage in PacsOne. Sometime during the summer, one of the drive "die". And theoretically, the RAID system should try to recover/redistribute the data to other drives automatically. Could this be the cause for this "disappearance" of 3 months worth of data?
My goal is to track down the location of these data and to find out if there is any data lost. Then put these data into the appropriate folder location and import it back to PacsOne again.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
