libjasper-1.700.so.1 => not found

During start up PHP give libjasper-1.700.so.1 => not found message in the apache log

Also running ldd imagick.so gives same message.

The file is not on our computer. Can you recommend a solution?

Our Software Versions are:
Fedora Core2 2.6.9-1.11_FC2
PHP 4.3.10
MySQL 3.23.58
Apache 2.0.51

libjasper and libfreetype are required RPM packges for displaying images through the web user interface.

You can either install them from your Linux distribution CD or download them from the web, e.g., http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/, etc.

We have been looking for a libjasper rpm for Fedora Core 2 for a day with no luck. Have tried pbone, rpmfind, fedora.us, and our install CDs.

Here's the RPM for SuSe Linux:

It should also work on FC2.
