dicom storage commitment

hi,

when we forward study to reading services., sometimes they don't receive all the images in a study. The study for example has 5 images, sometimes the recving party receives only 3 images. They asked us to see and use storage commitment option., but I can't find any options other then AE title to forward the study to. How can we make sure all the images are getting forwarded when we forward study?

In the configuration settings of the Destination AE from the Dicom AE page, if you enable the Storage Commitment SCP Server checkbox and enable the Request Storage Commitment Report for Dicom images sent to this SCP option, PacsOne Server will send the Dicom Storage Commitment request to this Destination AE when you forward a Dicom study to it. The Storage Commitment Report status will be displayed in the Storage Commitment Report column of the study being forwarded.

Thanks for your reply., after I made the changes, I get below error on all studies:

Is this the error from PacsOne Server, or from the remote AE?

The error means PacsOne had timed out while waiting for a Dicom message response from this remote AE RM_DORN when trying to send a Storage Commitment Report to that AE, so can you check the Dicom Conformance Statement of this RM_DORN AE, and make sure it supports the Dicom Storage Commitment Report SOP classes as a SCP/Server?

Fore each image PacsOne Server forwards to a destination AE, PacsOne will receive a Dicom C-STORE-RSP status back from the destination AE which will indicate whether or not that image has been received successfully, and PacsOne will update the Job Status of the forwarding job accordingly, i.e., the Job Status will be set to SUCCESS if all images of the forward job have been received successfully, and WARNING if one or more images was not received successfully while one or more images was received successfully, and ERROR if all images were not received successfully.
