DICOM Routing Based On Specific Tag
Is it possible to route through PacsOne based upon (0073,1003) Sending AE Title? If not, is there an alternative tag that can be used to specify a sending or source AET?
(0073,1003) is a private tag as indicated by the odd Group element, which is not recommended for use because such private tags defeat the whole purpose of having a public standard like Dicom.
If you'd like to route images by the Source AE Title, then you don't need any tag at all because the Source AE Title information is available during the initial Dicom association. So you can simply add a routing rule based on the Source AE Title alone without specifying any tag.

You can simply define multiple routing rules based on the Source AE Title information. For example, you can define Routing Rule #1 with the Source AE Title matching "GE*" to be routed the Destination AE 1, and Routing Rule#2 with Source AE Title matching "Agfa*" to be routed to Destination AE #2, etc.

Re: DICOM Routing Based On Specific Tag
So, I would like to ask that, if possible, for future releases, similar functionality be extended to the others e.g Users, Coercion rules, user groups so that one does not have to delete and re-create them.

Can you elaborate the details about what you mean? e.g., a detailed example would be perfect.
