Thumbnails do not show

Hello Everyone,

A problem I have with the PACSONE server version 6.5.1 is that if I go from Browse via the Patient ID -> study ID -> then choose a series number I get the Instances of that series of images it shows a stop sign I think because there are no thumbnails but with the MRI images where there seem to be thumbnails it does not show the thumbnails in Explorer as well as in Firefox it does not work. Firefox gives me a time out message (the connection to the server was reset while the page was loading) with the option to try again. After a dozen times of clicking this message (trying again) finally the thumbnails appear. I am wondering if this is a server issue or a setting in the PACSONE or the browser? Does anyone have a idea about this problem?

If you did not enable the "Enable Automatic Conversion of Received Dicom Images into Thumbnail/Full-size JPG/GIF images:" option in the "Configuration" page, then PacsOne Server will perform the conversion on the fly when a web user navigates through the Patient->Study->Series->Thumbnail Images page, which may take a long time depending on the number of images contained within that series. So if you want the thumbnail images to be readily accessible instead of waiting for them to be generated on the fly, then you should enable the above option in the "Configuration" page to have PacsOne Server perform the conversion automatically as soon as the study is received.

Thanks I switched the option on. Now just have to wait for new images to see if it works.

Enable Automatic Conversion of Received Dicom Images into Thumbnail/Full-size JPG/GIF images did not do the trick. Still same problems as before.
What I suspected is that it is a server time out issue. My knowledge stops here since I am a linear accelerator engineer. I will have to ask the company that takes care of our IT if they have a solution.

Enabling the "Automatic Conversion of Received Dicom Images into Thumbnail/Full-size JPG/GIF images" will make PacsOne Server automatically convert newly received Dicom images into JPG/GIF images, but not for those Dicom images that have already been received, which will be converted when a web user clicks through the Image Thumbnails page.

Yes I figured that, that is why I waited until I had enough new images I only refer to new images.

Do you mean no thumbnails were created for the newly received Dicom images?
